Common questions

My bender isn't in the list. What do I do?

iBend Pipe includes nearly 300 real benders from Greenlee, Milwaukee, Gardner Bender, Current Tools and iTOOLco. Use the filter and Sort by Size options to find yours faster. If it isn't there, pick the closest one and customize its profile to match the numbers stamped on your bender. You can also email me the make and model and I'll look at adding it.

How do I keep only the benders I own?

Mark your benders as favorites, then switch the list to Favorites. Only the benders you use will show up.

My marks are a little different from my old chart or calculator.

iBend Pipe calculates with your bender's centerline radius, while most charts use the simpler multiplier method. On larger conduit and steeper angles the two can differ. See why.

Can I use metric?

Yes. iBend Pipe works in English or metric units. Switch at any time and every result updates.

How do I enter fractions?

Use the inch-and-fraction keypad to type a measurement the way your tape reads it, like 12 1/2. You don't need to convert to decimals.

How does the built-in level work?

Hold your phone against the conduit to measure its angle, then send that angle straight into your calculation.

How do I get the Apple Watch app?

The Watch app comes with iBend Pipe. If it isn't on your watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, find iBend Pipe in the list, and tap Install.

I got a new phone. Do I have to buy iBend Pipe again?

No. Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the App Store, tap your profile picture, then Purchased, and download iBend Pipe again at no charge.

Can my family use my purchase?

Yes. iBend Pipe supports Family Sharing, so up to six family members can use it with one purchase.

Do you collect my data?

No. iBend Pipe doesn't collect any personal information. Read the privacy policy.
